60-year-old man killed in land dispute in Karachuonyo

A 60-year-old man was killed in Rachuonyo over land dispute. Peter Odawo was killed at Kamwangi Village, Kodumo West Sub- Location in Rachuonyo East Sub-county on Monday, February 2. Odawo was killed by two young men in the presence of his wife and three children. The suspects, who were armed with a panga and a metal bar, entered Odawo’s home and told him to be ready for his death. The Assistant Chief of Kodumo West Sub- location Nelly Atata said preliminary investigations indicate the dispute was between Odawo and members of his clan over land. The body was taken to Jawabu mortuary.
