Farewell: Professor Ogot buried at his Gem, Yala home

Prof Bethwell Allan Ogot was buried on Saturday, February 22 at his Gem, Yala home in Siaya County. Prof Ogot, 95, died on January 30, 2025 while receiving treatment at the Agha Khan Hospital in Kisumu City. Ogot was buried next to his late wife Grace Ogot, a former author and member of Parliament for Gem Constituency. The burial service was held at Maseno University’s Odera Akang’o Campus.
