Gov. Gladys Wanga reshuffles Homa Bay County ministers and chief officers

Homa Bay County Governor Gladys Wanga has made changes to her Cabinet to enhance service delivery. Wanga nominated Elijah Munga as the new County Executive Committee member for youth, sports, talent development, gender inclusivity, cultural heritage and social services. The governor also moved Roselyne Omolo from the public health and medical service department. Omolo is the new minister for governance, administration, communication and devolution department. Omolo swapped responsibilities with Grace Osewe. Dr. Joash Oloo was moved from Water and Sanitation to the department of Trade and investments, while Dr. John Ongili was moved from the department of Blue Economy and fisheries to Water and Sanitation. Sarah Malit was moved from the department of Sports and Youth to the department of Blue Economy and fisheries. Wanga also reassigned nine chief officers. Elly Nyiero was named the new chief officer for youth, sports, talent development, cultural heritage and social services. Stephen Okeyo becomes the new vocational training and human capital development chief officer.
