Israeli Protests Demand Gaza Deal After IDF Says 6 Hostages Killed

GAZA - Israel’s military recovered the bodies of six hostages it said Hamas had killed in Gaza, including Hersh Goldberg-Polin, the Israeli-American captive who became one of the most widely recognized faces of the hostage crisis. Three of the six hostages whose bodies were recovered had been expected to be released during the first phase of an eventual ceasefire agreement. Protests have started across Israel, and fresh anger is growing toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for failing to secure the release of hostages still held in Gaza.
