Luo elders welcome President Ruto to Nyanza

The Luo council of elders said President William Ruto if free to visit Nyanza region ahead of the Madaraka Day celebration on June 1 in Home Bay Town. Ker Odungi Randa said the elders support local leaders from all the counties in welcoming the president. Randa said in Nyando that elders from Siaya, Migori, Homa Bay, and Kisumu counties were ready to receive the president when he comes to the region for a development tour. Ruto received overwhelming support in he visited Kisumu County to launch the affordable housing projects, including the Makasembo Housing. A massive crowd also tuned out in Migori County and Ndhiwa in Homa Bay County when the president announced fundings for a number of roads in the area to be tarmacked.
