Police officer stabs two patients at Bondo hospital

A police officer has been arrested for stabbing two patients at Bondo Sub-district Hospital where he was admitted. Mohammed Gure, an officer attached at Aram Police Station in Rarieda Sub-county on Friday, January 31, attacked the patients with a knife, leaving them with serious injuries. Gure was was subdued by the support staff at the hospital and is undergoing a mental examination. The hospital’s Medical Superintendent Evans Ogoti said the stabbing occurred in the general ward.
