Policeman kills 3 children, dies by suicide in Rachuonyo

A police officer killed his two children and a neighbor’s child before killing himself in Kakdhimu East, Rachuonyo in Homa Bay County.

Constable David Okebe Goga of Marsabit Police Station returned to his Rachuonyo home on Sunday, April 6 where he killed the three children who included his brother-in-law’s five-year old son.

Okebe's children were a six-year-old boy and five-year-old boy.

Police said preliminary investigations indicate that the officer poisoned the children. He then hanged himself in his house.

Police said that a suicide note was found in the house.
