President Ruto Launches Construction of Kshs. 1.2 Billion Rusinga Ring Road

RUSINGA ISLAND – President William Ruto kicked off part of a four-day Nyanza region tour by
launching the Rusinga Ring Road, which measures 19.4 kilometers, and will cost the
government Kshs 1.28 billion.

Ruto on Thursday, August 29 officially launched the construction works for the upgrading to
Bitumen standards of the Rusinga Island Ring Road.

Other ongoing government road projects in Homa Bay County include the Mfangano Ring Road
and the Mbita-Sindo-Sori Road.
