Mar 26, 2025
Migori Stadium turned into a battlefield on Monday after supports of Governor Ochilo Ayacko and Uriri MP Mark Nyamita clashed over political supremacy. The fighting started after a soccer match between Migori Youth and Mofa. The stone-throwing started immediately after Nyamita, who has declared interest in the county’s governor’s race, went to meet the players as the patron of Migori Youth Football Club. Ayacko was the first to addressing the players. The police fired teargas to disperse the warring supporters.
