Youth desecrate Raila Odinga grave hours after burial at Kang’o Ka Jaramogi

Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga has condemned a group of rowdy youths who raided grave of the late Raila Odinga, just hours after the former prime minister’s burial on Sunday, October 19. The youth danced on the grave and stole some of the wreath at Kang’o Ka Jaramogi in Bondo. Oburu condemned the behavior on his younger brother’s grave, calling it a violation of cultural norms and a dishonor to the memory of the departed. “Respect the dead. Respect the graveyard,” Oburu said. “It is not our culture to mock the dead. Such behavior can lead to a curse.”
