WANYAMA - ODM party leaders from across Homa Bay County have thrown their support behind acting party leader Senator Oburu Oginga. Speaking during the funeral of Gregory Miloge on Friday, January 23 in Wanyama, Rusinga Ward, the leaders condemned people who oppose the leadership Senator Oburu and national party chairman Governor Gladys Wanga of Homa Bay. Homa Bay County Assembly Majority Leader Martin Ogindo said Oburu must be respected by party members. Ogindo said the Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and his EALA counterpart Winnie Odinga “must be stopped from dividing the party.” Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo urged party members to continue supporting her leadership. She said that despite complaints about her development record, she has delivered a number of projects in the constituency. She singled out building a laboratory in Wanyama. Homa Bay County Woman Representative aspirant Florence Ouma also attended the funeral.
