Ida Odinga and Presidents Ruto and Kenyatta received Raila’s body from India

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s widow, Ida, led the family in receiving his body at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Raila died in India on Wednesday, October 15. The body arrived in Kenya on Thursday, October 16 on a Kenya Airlines flight accompanied by Raila’s daughter Winnie Odinga, and sister Ruth Odinga. President William Ruto and former President Uhuru Kenyatta were also at the airport.
