The Ministry of Education has released the 2025 KPSEA and KILEA performance reports, with candidates now able to access their results. KPSEA learners can check their individual reports online through the KNEC portal at kpsea.knec.ac.ke by entering their Assessment Number and one registered name, then accepting the privacy notice to view their results. KILEA candidates, however, will collect their official performance reports directly from their respective schools. Schools can also download all learner reports through the CBA portal. KNEC said it is committed to credible and high-quality assessments. KPSEA evaluates competencies gained from Grades 4 to 6, combining 60% formative assessment done in school and 40% summative assessment administered nationally at the end of Grade 6. The results guide learners as they transition to Junior Secondary School in Grade 7. KILEA, on the other hand, assesses learners at the intermediate level, focusing on practical skills, understanding, and application rather than memorization. The results help parents, teachers, and schools track learner progress and readiness for the next stage of education.
