ODM party leader Oburu Oginga says party in broad-based government

ODM party leader Senator Oburu Oginga has said that the party will remain in the broad-based government until 2027. Senator Oburu said that the arrangement will continue according to the directive of former Prime Minister and party leader Raila Odinga before his death in India on October 15, 2025. Senator Oburu added that the party’s political direction could change in 2027 as members will sit then and decide on the way forward going into the next elections. Oburu said the party will remain united, noting that he will continue fighting and upholding the party’s legacy as Raila would have wished.
